Structuralist film which is both the recording of an act in real time and the presented film. A video of me, sunbathing in southern Turkey plays on a small screen.

In Greek Mythology, Tantalus's punishment was to stand in a pool of water beneath a fruit tree. Whenever he reached for the fruit, the branches raised beyond his grasp. Whenever he bent down to drink, the water receded before him. Forever deprived of nourishment.



Forest Fresh
12 Little Trees Air Fresheners, paracord.

Forest Fresh is an installation of 12 Little Trees Air Fresheners hung from the ceiling using paracord, creating a small forest. The name comes from the one type of Little Trees Air Freshener which was unavailable to buy anywhere at the time of making, “Forest Fresh” in Green, which is the most realistic depiction of a tree to come out of the brand’s line of products.
