The View from Across is a video installation with a burnt monitor sitting on top of a wooden plinth with a wrought iron grill pattern taken from a door in Salacak, Istanbul. The monitor loops the eerie CCTV footage of Salacak and a scan of an expired Super 8 film, shot on top of a ferry crossing between Asia and Europe.
